Fencing package

Easy to store, carry and erect: the concept and design of Gallagher's new SmartFence T4100 arose from an idea hatched by the company's Swiss team.
They envisaged a multi-wire fence, similar to a pull-out clothesline, from which all the wires unwind simultaneously.

Until now temporary fencing has used multiple reels and standards, Gallagher says. But not SmartFence, which is "set to redefine the concept of portable fencing".

The four-wire, easily portable, all-in-one electric fence system can be quickly and easily erected and dismantled by a person with no experience of temporary fencing.

Erected and connected to an energiser, it provides a safe, effective barrier.

Features include: four wires, ten posts and 100m length; posts, reels and wire in one easily carried package; four wires for effective, safe animal control; suits any terrain - rolling or flat.

The SmartFence is especially useful for making a temporary paddock within a larger paddock for a specific number of drafted animals, for dividing paddocks for more efficient grazing, or for grazing animals in non-fenced areas.

It makes for safer roadside grazing option than a single-wire fence.

Remote grazing is easier with the system and it allows fast 'patching up' of problem areas on permanent fences or fencing off stacks of silage bales.
